The procedure of Liposuction involves the removal of fat via more defined cannulas that is passed through the fatty tissue from a small incision made to the area of the body being treated. Ultrasound waves are directed into the fat to break it up into small deposits before a gentle suction process removes the fat cells.
The process generally will not affect any other connective or structural tissue so you receive a smoother result.
The procedure is done under either local or general anaesthetic depending on the number of areas you wish to have treated in the same visit. After surgery, patients are fitted with a compression garment to reduce any swelling and to keep the contoured results compressed. It also ensures the skin can reattach over the next few hours after the procedure. Patients are chauffeured home complimentary by our clinic same day or after an overnight stay at our hospital. As Vaser Liposuction is performed as a day case procedure it generally means the majority of patients will be discharged the same day.

How effective is Liposuction?
With Vaser Liposuction the results are immediately visible after the procedure and after the swelling has subsided final results will be around 3 to 4 months after the treatment has been carried out. This means a new look after a week for the swelling to subside and a constant improvement over the months following.
How many Vaser Liposuction treatments will I need?
Vaser Liposuction only requires one treatment per area. Those areas include Chin, Chest, Arms, Back, Love Handles, Stomach, Flanks, Bottom, Thighs, Knees, Calves, Ankles.
How long does a Vaser Liposuction treatment take?
The length of the procedure will vary with each patient and the size of the area to being treated. However, we would normally state an average duration of 1 hour per full area.

Vaser Liposuction is carried out under a local anaesthetic and many patients can enjoy simple entertainment by watching TV while the procedure takes place. Most patients experience their discomfort after the surgery and feel a little sore.
Are the results of Vaser Liposuction permanent?
Vaser Liposuction is a procedure by where the fat cells within the treated area are permanently removed. Any major weight gain will generally be distributed proportionately over your body. However one must still maintain a healthy diet and sensible eating thereafter.
Will I lose a lot of weight from Liposuction?
